The Florida Division of Emergency Management offers a wealth of information and tools to assist with disaster prep, including the following:

- Know Your Zone assists with determining your evacuation zone ahead of time and planning your escape route before disaster hits.
- Get A Plan! is a handy tool for creating disaster plans, whether for your home, business, or special needs situation.
The Florida Department of Health is another excellent source of information and planning tools related to disaster preparedness.
Do you care for someone with special needs, or do you yourself have special needs? Registering with the Florida Special Needs Registry can let your emergency response providers know in advance what your needs are and how they can best provide you with assistance in the event of a disaster.
