Meet the Chief
For the past 4 years, Kevin Mobley has served as the Fire Chief for Melrose Station 24.
Chief Mobley has lived in Keystone Heights since 1978, and graduated from KHHS in 1990. He began his career as a firefighter in 1989, starting out as a volunteer with Keystone Heights VFD and leaving in 2013 as the Fire Chief. He was also employed as a firefighter/paramedic with Clay County Fire Rescue, where he served for 20 years, serving 16 of those years as a Lieutenant. He also spent 4 years as a firefighter/paramedic with Putnam County EMS. Chief Mobley also served as a Forest Ranger for the Florida Forest Service for 1 year, and is currently employed as a Lieutenant/Shift Supervisor for Bradford County Fire Rescue.

- BLS/ACLS/PALS instructor
- State of Florida Wildland Firefighter
- AS degree in Emergency Medical Services
- AS degree in Fire Science Technology
Chief Mobley also runs his own business teaching Fire Officer classes and CPR/First Aid courses. His hobbies include camping, fishing, hunting, boating, alligator hunting, and he loves spending time with his wife Amy and their many pets.
